I've never even kept a journal

For a writer, not keeping a journal is pretty weird. Yet I've always been more inclined to write only when I had a story to tell, and not to just document thoughts and feelings. I always just talked to myself, and I am sure I will continue to do so. But whereas journals are generally private, blogs are not. There's something about that idea that appeals to me. I never write for myself, I write for an audience. Granted, it's an audience comprised of those with the same tastes as myself, but an audience nonetheless.
