G.L.O.W. Diary 19

Monday, Week 3, May 1983

At the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC, we had 210 people in attendance.

The announcers put over the fact that their will be a tournament for the vacant tag team title starting next week, when we will see The Patriots vs. The Anti-Americans.[F]
Sally the Farmer's Daughter attacks Debbie Dancer backstage, and leaves her down and out.[D]
Vine defeated California Doll in 2:48 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.[C-]
Susie Spirit is working out backstage. Chainsaw comes along and challenges her to an arm wrestling contest.
Susie Spirit could use something to freshen her character up.[B-]
Tracy Richards defeated Little Feather in 2:50 by pinfall with a Reverse Bodyslam.[F]
Don Coss is interviewing his client, Beastie. He asks "You've been working at a soup kitchen, handing out toys at an orphanage, and sponsoring children in poor countries. Why?"
"I am trying to make up for all the bad things I've done." she replies.
Beastie is developing better performance skills.[D]
Maddie Menace defeated Victoria in 2:55 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage.[E]
The show would have been much better if I had put the right girls together in matches.[D]


Tuesday, Week 3, May 1983

I told Susie to pick up a pair of cap guns and a cowboy hat for her new gimmick. If I hadn't just started her in a storyline, I could have given her something less silly. Lesson learned.
